Good Idea’s Expands Manufacturing and Distribution on the West coast
Good Ideas, Inc, a manufacturer of composters, rain barrels and other products has just announced plans to begin production and distribution of products from a new west coast facility based in Madera, CA through a partnership agreement with a local manufacture.
While continuing the “made in the USA” theme Good Ideas, Inc. has been expanding business at an unprecedented rate, making the Good Ideas brand name one that is synominous with quality and competitiveness. The extension of manufacturing capabilities geographically is a natural result of growth. Many of the products that are manufactured for Good Ideas are freight sensitive so manufacturing and distribution regionally to customers was imperative.
The realignment has come at an excellent time when production is beginning to ramp up for the upcoming 2013 season. “The western states represent a great market for our types of products and we’re in an excellent position to serve that market”, said Ross Smith of Marketing and Technical Sales. Good Ideas customers should expect to see more competitive product placement and shortened fulfillment times in the near future. Full implantation of manufacturing and distribution will be in place by October of 2012.
The west coast is just one of the locations Good Ideas, Inc. is looking to expand. Expect to see more plants and distribution centers added throughout the United States as Good Ideas intends to service our customer regionally.
