Build-Your-Own Compost Wizard

Good Ideas is now the first to offer a complete kit for anyone to make their own compost tumbler.  The kit includes:

• Wheeled base
• 16" twist lid w/ receiver ring
• 8 screws

All that's needed is the barrel.  This can be any barrel over 22".  55 gallon food grade barrels work excellent as composters.  Then it's as simple as 1, 2, 3.

1) Trace the inside of the receiver ring (below the flange that will sit on the outside wall of the barrel.

2) Cut the traced line with a powered saw or router.  Use caution during this step.

3) Attach the receiver ring using the included screws.  You may have to drill pilot holes first depending on your material.
